We are Daniel and Maria Mendoza, the husband and wife team behind Dflavorcc.
Our story didn’t begin in a bakery. Originally from Venezuela, we both built professional careers in completely different fields, never imagining that our journey would one day lead us to the world of cake design and to creating wedding cakes in the Lowcountry.
What began as a passion for baking and creating has grown, over the past decade, into something far more meaningful: the opportunity to be part of some of life’s most unforgettable celebrations.
Today, Daniel leads the creative side of Dflavorcc as a luxury wedding cake designer, while Maria is an essential part of the heart and operation behind our family business.
Together, we combine creativity, precision, and genuine hospitality to create wedding cakes and dessert experiences that feel deeply personal to every couple we serve.
For us, it has never been just about cake. It’s about the memory attached to it.
